Shrink Sleeves

Custom Shrink Sleeve Labels -Full-Body 360° Branding & Tamper Protection

Custom Shrink sleeves wrap tightly around any container shape - including curved, irregular and irregularly shaped containers - delivering 360° full-bleed branding that traditional pressure-sensitive labels cannot achieve. Labels Lab produces custom shrink sleeve labels for bottles, cans, jars, tubes and specialty containers.

Our shrink sleeves are available in PVC, PETG, OPS and PLA (compostable) materials, printed using high-resolution digital flexographic processes. Every sleeve includes a pre-distorted artwork compensation service to ensure your design looks perfect after heat-shrink application.

Our Experience with Shrink Sleeves

Shrink sleeve printing is more technically demanding than standard label printing. The artwork needs to be pre-distorted correctly. The film needs to be selected based on the container material and shape. The print needs to hold up through heat tunnel application without colour shift or distortion.

We have printed shrink sleeves for supplement brands, beverage companies, cannabis operators and beauty labels. Our pre-press team knows the common pitfalls - artwork that is not pre-distorted correctly, film that is too thick for a particular heat tunnel speed, registration errors on multi-colour jobs. We catch these issues before they cost you a production run.

The Equipment Behind the Sleeves

We print shrink sleeves on OMET XFLEX X4 and X8 narrow web flexographic presses - running at up to 200 metres per minute with servo-driven tension control. These are the same presses used by the largest label and packaging printers in the industry.

For short-run sleeve orders, we use HP Indigo digital printing, which allows you to produce 500 to 2,000 sleeves without the cost of flexographic plate setup.

ISO 9001 and Our Quality Promise

Our shrink sleeve production operates under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. Every sleeve batch goes through colour verification, registration checks and seal integrity tests before shipping.

Frequently Asked Questions About Labels Lab

Shrink sleeves are commonly used when products require full-body 360° branding, tamper-evident packaging or labeling for curved and irregularly shaped containers that standard pressure-sensitive labels may not fully cover.
Shrink sleeves are widely used on bottles, cans, jars, tubes and specialty containers across beverage, supplement, beauty, food and wellness industries because they conform tightly to different container shapes.
PETG is one of the most commonly used shrink sleeve materials for supplements, food and beverages due to its strong shrink performance, print quality and recyclability. Material selection may also depend on container shape, shrink ratio and sustainability goals.
Yes. Neck bands and tamper bands are commonly used to provide visible tamper evidence on bottles, jars and beverage containers. Once the band is broken, it clearly indicates that the product has been opened.
Yes. Shrink sleeves can be manufactured for compatibility with automated application systems, heat tunnels and high-speed production environments commonly used in large-scale packaging operations.
Shrink sleeve artwork must be adjusted before printing to compensate for the distortion that occurs during heat application. This helps ensure logos, text and graphics appear correctly aligned after the sleeve shrinks onto the container.
Popular shrink sleeve finishes include matte lamination, gloss lamination, metallic effects, holographic finishes and cold foil accents depending on the desired shelf appearance and brand positioning.
Yes. PLA shrink sleeves offer compostable packaging alternatives, while PETG and OPS materials are commonly selected for recyclable packaging applications depending on local recycling capabilities.
Shrink sleeves are widely used across supplements, beverages, CBD, skincare, food products, craft beverages and cosmetic industries where strong shelf visibility and full-container branding are important.
Brands should evaluate container shape, shrink ratio requirements, material compatibility, heat tunnel setup, sustainability preferences, print finish options and production volume before selecting a shrink sleeve solution. Our sales representatives can also help determine the right sizing for your product and packaging needs.
